We made our stop at Tyler bend camp ground on the buffalo river. It is truly one of god's little treats he left behind. The river is so calm, clear and warm. The views are just amazing. Maddy and i hiked up the river for maybe 5 min. and it took us 30 minutes to float down. You just lay your head back and look up at Mt. tops covered in trees and wildlife. The fish just swim by you and YES!!!! Jeff caught his first fish of the trip. It was a little trout. Maverick also caught his first fish. I was able to catch it on video so it will be a spot never forgotten. The kids practiced skipping rocks across the river and made a few go pretty far. On our way back to camp the fire flies were out so that was pretty cool to see. Buttercup is finally showing signs of life again she got into the river all by herself today and kept coming out just to join us and on the way back she ran through the fields and chased bunnies. I guess the cooler temp. helps a dog with a very furry coat.
