We took Maddy to the L.S.U. Campus yesterday. She wants to go there so we thought it would be fun to walk around but Hurricane Alex had different plans it was raining but it did stop enough to get out and go see MIKE THE TIGER. He was beautiful. While in Baton Rouge we had to go to our favorite family restaurant while growing up, La Fonda's. The food as gone down hill a bit it was actually kinda gross, so i guess we r done going there. Baton Rouge is only about an hour away from my grandmas so we went on up to see her. I was so thrilled at 80 you don't know how many more times i will get to see her hopefully plenty more. She cooked and we just talked with a 3 hour ride home we couldn't stay long so we headed out. This time we decided to take the ferry across the Mississippi river and go into St. Francivlle were all the old Victorian/plantation homes are. So pretty. It took us about 4hrs to get home but all worth it.
